GRUB & INSECT CONTROL
For Controlling Japanese beetles, grubs and lawn insects and reducing mole activity. Lawns that are sodded and thatchy are very susceptible. A homeowner might suspect the turf has turned brown because of drought. In reality, the grubs have severed the roots and the turf is dead. To protect against Japanese beetle grubs we can apply an insecticide in spring prior to egg hatch as an additional service. (Note: This will not prevent your neighbors’ Japanese beetles from flying into your lawn, but it will prevent egg laying and hatching.) Mole activity- Dry, granular insecticide has also been effective at reducing mole activity in your lawn. The idea is to get rid of all the insects they feed on and they will go elsewhere to get food. The cost is $98 for 5000 sq. ft. and under. Add $10 per additional 1000 sq. ft. over 5000.
